About Me

Hi! I'm Christina, and I am a recent graduate from Virginia Tech! I'm in Northern VA now pursuing a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I'd like to continue what I learned from the Geography of Wine class I took in Spring of 2012, so I'll be posting about different wines and wine events. I would be very grateful for suggestions, and I'm open to expanding my posts to beer and liquor as well!

Tasting - Leese Fitch Sauvignon Blanc

Name: Leese Fitch Sauvignon Blanc

Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Region: Sonoma Valley
Country: United States
Year: 2010
Price: $10.95
Shop Review: 90 points, Wine Enthusiast.  A lovely Sauvignon Blanc, dry, crisply acidic and clean, with complex citrus, flower and mineral flavors.  A great value for the money.
My Review:  This Sauvignon Blanc was pale gold in color.  It has lovely cherry blossom and pear aromas.  It has a sweet crisp apple and pear taste.  It is a very simple wine, but it was in balance and well-crafted.

I had this wine alone without any food.
