Shop Review: Cherry color, almost black towards the
centre of the glass. The bouquet is a
complex mixture of fruity and spicy sensations, with some notes of smoke and
minerals. Full-mouthed and highly
structured. Its ripe tannins give
unctuosity and persistence to this excellent wine.
My Review: This wine is a lovely dark ruby in color
and has a heavy black pepper and cherry aroma.
For some reason, I smelled a slight scent of salami, so it is likely I had
a similarly structured wine and salami at some point, and the aromas just
reminded me of this. Upon tasting the
wine, it was very dry and peppery.
I had this wine
alone without any food.
