About Me

Hi! I'm Christina, and I am a recent graduate from Virginia Tech! I'm in Northern VA now pursuing a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I'd like to continue what I learned from the Geography of Wine class I took in Spring of 2012, so I'll be posting about different wines and wine events. I would be very grateful for suggestions, and I'm open to expanding my posts to beer and liquor as well!

Tasting - Crucero Cabernet Über Cuvee

Name: Crucero Cabernet Über Cuvee

Variety: Cabernet
Region: Curico Valley
Country: Chile
Year: 2010
Price: $8.95
Shop Review: This über cuvee was made especially for the U.S. importer and features rich ripe fruit with ample oak at a tremendous price.
My Review: This wine is dark ruby, almost black, and has no legs.  It has oaky and black pepper aromas.  When I tasted it, it tasted of a spicy fruit that is unknown to me and black pepper.

I had this wine alone without any food.
