Shop Review: Deep ruby. Wild aromas of cassis, dark chocolate, smoky
herbs and earth, along with a touch of incense.
Then supple and pliant, offering juicy red currant and bitter cherry,
smoke and licorice flavors. The sappy
finish lingers with good authority and echoes the smoky note.
My Review: This wine is ruby in color. It had aromas of dark cherry with notes of
spiciness. It had slight dark chocolate
flavors and was rather dry. I wasn’t
wowed in any way, and believe that I could find many wines as good as this at a
cheaper price. I kind of think you are
paying for the colorful description they provided!
I had this wine
alone without any food.
