Shop Review: The fruity, mouthwatering wine has a
nice acidity-sugar balance and comes from the so called “Rhenhessen-Switzerland,”
the heartland of Rheinhessen. It has a
floral bouquet and smells like yellow fruit, lemon-grass and green tea.
My Review: Lemon-grass
was the dominant scent in the bouquet. The
initial taste of this wine was lemony with hints of other citrus fruits and had
a sour finish. It had a good balance. It would be lovely on a hot summer’s day!
I had this wine
alone without any food.
